Grassroots Advocacy Workshop for Clergy (Interfaith)

  • Temple Beth Tikvah 9955 Coleman Road Roswell, GA 30075 (map)

Faith leaders play a special role in our communities. They have the power to mobilize communities and influence policies. Join us for a workshop with Georgia Equality and the Anti-Defamation League as we learn about grassroots movements and the steps that we can all take to help improve our world.

You don't need to be a professional lobbyist to influence change. All you need is personal experience, factual information to back up your personal expertise, and knowledge of who the key decision-makers are and what is most likely to influence them. Georgia Equality will guide us through the steps needed to become an advocate, including effective communication, public engagement, letter-writing, and grass-roots organizing.

Help us to create a fair, pro-GSD/LGBTQ majority in our state! This free workshop is open to clergy and educational staff of all faiths, identities, and orientations.

RSVP to Rebecca Stapel-Wax at rebecca@sojourngsd.org to reserve your space.
