Dear SOJOURN Organizational Partners:

We are excited to invite you to participate with the Jewish Community at Atlanta Pride

October 13-14, 2018 in Piedmont Park

This year will be very exciting as we celebrate SOJOURN's founder, Rabbi Joshua Lesser. It is a great honor to be a Grand Marshal of the parade and one of the benefits is to ride/walk at the front of the 200+ groups marching down Peachtree.

For 2018-2019, SOJOURN has three options for our organizational partners:

OPTION I: PRIDE PARTNER ONLY                                                                                                                          As a Pride Partner you receive the following:

  • Register for the Pride Parade

  • Have a presence at the Pride Festival Booth

  • Remain in the LGBT Guide to Jewish Atlanta

  • Since Rabbi Joshua Lesser is a Grand Marshal you can be more up front at the parade - minimizing getting embroiled in crowds

Cost $150
Commitments required by September 10  to be in the LGBT Guide to Jewish Atlanta, banners, and all advertising

Option II: PRIDE PARTNER & PURIM OFF PONCE COMMUNITY HOST
As a Pride Partner & POP Community Host you receive the following:

  • All of the benefits of Option I for Pride Partners

  • The combined cost saves $10 to participate in both Pride and POP

  • It is more efficient for SOJOURN and your organization so we don’t have to make 2 outreaches (for Pride and then for POP) and getting commitments now helps both organization’s budgeting

  • Your organization can be listed on the SOJOURN website early

  • Last year’s Purim off Ponce sold out. This year's honoree is actor, Bex Taylor-Klaus! This sponsorship guarantees your participation and will reach thousands.

  • Non-Profit Community Partners help to provide compassionate guidance to lesbian, gay, bisexual transgender, queer and questioning individuals, their families, and professionals. Community Partners receive two (2) tickets to Purim off Ponce and are the perfect way for agencies to honor the work that SOJOURN does throughout the South.

  • Community Partner Logos are listed on our website and in print materials (time allowing).

  • If you participate in both Pride and POP, your organization doesn't have to make a payment until Purim off Ponce, March 9, 2019 (and can pay over time until that deadline)

Cost is $500. Commitment required by September 10.

Option III: PURIM OFF PONCE HOST ONLY
As a POP Community Host you receive the following:

  • Last year’s Purim off Ponce sold out. This year's honoree is actor, Bex Taylor-Klaus! This guarantees your participation and will reach thousands.

  • Your organization can be listed on the SOJOURN website early

  • Non-Profit Community Partners help to provide compassionate guidance to lesbian, gay, bisexual transgender, queer and questioning individuals, their families, and professionals. Community Partners receive two (2) tickets to Purim off Ponce and are the perfect way for agencies to honor the work that SOJOURN does throughout the South.

  • Community Partner Logos are listed on our website and in print materials (time allowing).

Cost for POP Community Host is $360. Deadline is December 1, 2018.

SOJOURN appreciates our partners. We are grateful for the gender and sexually diverse inclusion work that you are doing in your communities. We are delighted to support you and your efforts. Thank you for your contributions of making the Atlanta community a unique and safe city for all.

This year we are gonna celebrate how far we've come with the BIGGEST and the BEST float in the parade.  How? The way the Jewish Community knows how to celebrate... By flash-mob dancing of course!  Choreography by Israeli Folk Dance leader Meliss Jakubovic.

My very best,
Rebecca
