Atlanta Pride is the largest LGBT Pride celebration in the Southeast. Atlanta's Jewish Community will have three booths at the Pride Marketplace, scheduled for October 13-14, 2018 and we will participate in the Pride Parade on Sunday, October 14, also known as National Coming Out Day.
SOJOURN invites any and all interested Jewish organizations and agencies to join us for any or all of the Pride celebrations.
Registering for Pride with SOJOURN includes:
- Space in the Jewish Community's booths at the Pride Marketplace. We encourage organizations to staff the booth for 2hrs during marketplace hours. (Saturday* and Sunday, 10a-7p)
- Participating in Atlanta's official Jewish contingent during the pride parade, including your logo on our community banner to lead the delegation. We welcome you to bring your members and participants of all ages to march down Peachtree street in solidarity with our entire community. You are welcome to bring additional flags, banners, and signs as well. Many groups make t-shirts, too. This is one of the best ways to show the community your participation - the more people the better!
*If your organization is shomer shabbat and would prefer to only participate on Sunday, please let us know.
** Registration required by September 1 to guarantee a branded sign and inclusion on the community-wide banner.
